FOR CENTURIES THE CHINESE HAVE PRACTICED a healing form of movement called Chi Kung. Similar in action to Tai Chi, this specific array of exercises is performed to stimulate overall health and well-being to keep the muscles and joints flexible, and maintain the body’s steady and uninterrupted flow of energy or “Chi”.
In this 40-minute routine, we will use breathing, movement and imagination, to stimulate specific organs, and organ systems of the body. Moving together, we’ll use the gentle choreography of this ancient practice, to bring energy to, through, and out of ourselves. No previous experience is necessary.
Please dress casually, wearing loose, comfortable clothing that will allow you to move freely while practicing.
