Enneagram

The Enneagram is an ancient Sufi teaching that describes nine different personality types and their interrelationships - a human development model outlining ways people relate in intimacy and business.

Each viewpoint is determined by certain mental and emotional motivations. No type is better than any other, and each can be effective, though they interact in radically different ways.

In the oral teaching tradition of the Enneagram, this workshop includes interviews with panels of each of the nine points, exploring how the different points interact in work, love and play.

This insightful workshop includes interviews with panels (individuals representing each type) to explore real life examples of how each type relates to the world and others.

This weekend focuses on the resources, skills and unique potential of each of the 9 types. It introduces and deepens the study of the Enneagram.

Whether you are new to the Enneagram or very familiar with it, you'll find this weekend informative, rewarding and fun.

We present the Enneagram using the following methods:

Panels
Each personality type comes alive through panel presentations. You will have the chance to hear panel members describe their likes, dislikes, relationships and work habits. Through this method you will learn to identify the characteristics of your own type and begin to understand the unique way each of us views the world. There is also be ample time for questions.

Movement Exploration
In ancient times the Enneagram was taught as an energetic system, using movement and dance. In keeping with this tradition, there will be time for meditation, movement and dance. This method brings you into a direct experience of the Enneagram and of yourself through this system.

Stage Work/Experiential Work
To enhance and clearly differentiate between each personality type, every Enneagram point will be brought alive through a piece of stage work/experiential work during the workshop.

The Seer Awakened

This is a powerful initiation for the awakening of the throat center and the third eye. This conference awakens “The Seer” making intuition and psychic ability available. Through the throat and third eye centers a spiritual awakening occurs engendering universal wisdom and insight and an enhanced ability to express these into your life.

With the luxury of 12 days in deeply meditative retreat you will have the opportunity to practice the use of movement, soul work, dream work, journaling, active imagination and divination to begin to bridge the personal, unconscious, ordinary and heightened realms of Life. We will use myth, ancient tribal practices and traditions, and the exploration of archetypal energies to bring clarity intuition and sacred site into your life.

Mystery Camp

New England Mystery School, affectionately known as Mystery Camp, is dedicated to supporting exploration of the spiritual underpinnings of our lives. This is a joyous blending of shared study, community gathering, individual and group meditative practice, honoring our bodies through movement & dance, ritual, dream work and witnessing our glorious souls reflected as we sit once again in our circle.

All of our work blends the discovery of inner wisdom and soul guidance with the development of outer life skills and personal mastery. The structure of Mystery Camp helps to bridge and enrich both our inner and outer engagement with life. We are witnesses and mentors for each other in support of living life fully, consciously and with love, gratitude and joy!

The curriculum is ultimately determined by the group and each individual discovers their own depth of study and practice. Three modules are designed as experiential intensives for individual and group development. Individual study and ongoing practice is encouraged and supported through e-mail connection and occasional meetings in between modules. A buddy system is available to provide structure and support at whatever level is desired.

The Leadership Practicum

Leaders are made - not born. Leadership in today's world requires a new set of skills to be effective. The days of the autocratic, "father-figure" leader who dictates edicts and manages from fear are quickly fading. There is a hunger for leadership in the world today. The world is calling for leaders with the emotional courage and consciousness to mobilize teams of people, initiate change and inspire people and groups to live their possibilities.

The Leadership Practicum is for people who want to significantly deepen their leadership abilities and capabilities to impact groups and communities. It is designed for anyone who teaches, leads, is a part of, or works with groups or teams in business or communities.The new world of work and community demands that leaders have a strong sense of themselves and keen insight into the group process. The journey begins by looking inward. This Practicum takes the principles and experiences you learned from the Pathways Institute Basic Workshop and other graduate programs, and proactively applies them to specific situations and challenges that you face in your day-to-day work life.

Honoring Eros: A Women's Retreat for Renewal and Celebration

In a spectacular oceanside setting, spend a week in deep retreat and the exploration of ourselves as Women. Join us for rest, renewal, the awakening of eros and the love and trust of our bodies. This workshop is offered to women who yearn for time spent in deep inner connection to the feminine source. The Couples Workshop: The Sacred Path of Intimacy
This 4 1/2 day residential conference is a wonderful opportunity for couples to take time in retreat together, and focus creative energy into the creation of a sacred relationship. Couples will come together to create sacred space, practice effective communication skills, and to deepen intimacy. Time will be spent renewing passion and commitment as well as tackling difficult issues such as learning how to fight and resolve conflict well.Time will be spent together in sacred ritual, meditation, council, play and soulwork as well as nourishing, enlivening discussion with other couples. Trip to Tibet

We are thrilled to be embarking on a sacred journey to Tibet. Just as the Tibetans make sacred pilgrimages each cycle in order to add their flame and prayers into the temples, we will use our trip to ignite spiritual vision. Tibet is the land of compassionate devotion. The trip begins and ends in Katmandu, Nepal, the shopping capital of Tibetan Buddhism - and an incredibly fascinating city. We are blessed to be able to travel with Ken Ballard into the heart of Tibet. We will visit monasteries, have private audiences with the lamas, spend time in the ancient city of Lhasa, join with the Gyoto Monks in their chanting, trek to the ancient meditation caves of Drek Yerpa, and travel up country into some of the highest mountains on earth: the Himalayas.

Initiating the Heart

The heart center is the gateway between the world of the personal and transpersonal. Through ritual and meditation, we initiate the awakening of the heart center; bringing the qualities of compassion and unconditional love alive in your life moment to moment. We learn to tap the unseen forces of the dream, meditative and archetypal worlds, bringing great richness, healing and resource into our lives.

Voice Dialogue Training
Voice Dialogue is an extraordinary tool for entering into direct communication with the many "voices" inside ourselves. In this training you will learn to use paradox as a gate to a dynamic new center of consciousness. We will introduce a new paradigm and process for dealing with "stuck" patterns in relationship, focus on healing of inner-splits, and develop a greater capacity to access each inner voice, as needed. Each participant will develop and practice listening and facilitation skills, as well as receive weekly voice dialogue sessions.
