Refusal of the Call

The hero, upon hearing and feeling the power of the call to his/her new adventure, may at first hold back. He/She may be unwilling to take what may seem like a risky course of action and hesitate or be pensive about making any unnecessary changes in his/her life. He/she may feel alone and reluctant. Supernatural Aid/Finding a Mentor

After the hero has accepted the Call, and is just beginning to embark on his/her adventure the hero will receive a gift of some kind that will be of practical use during the adventure.
